Why exhibit with us?
We are a non profitable gallery, we do not charge commissions
Shoalhaven fine art gallery hires out the front of house gallery, equipped with a professionally fitted hanging system, inclusive of all wires and hooks and gallery lighting, we also have a professional grade kitchen for your use.
We are passionate about opening our doors to both established and emerging artists wanting to showcase their works in our gallery.
Set up day is on a Thursdays at 12pm with Take down on Thursday morning by 12pm. (following end of exhibition) Please note this is an artist-run gallery which means you will be renting the gallery space.
You are responsible for all advertising and openings, However if you would like us to organise your flyers we are more than happy to do this starting at $80 per 200 flyer size is A6.
We also advertise on social media on your behalf unless otherwise stated.
If you would like us to hang your exhibition this can be done with a fee of $150 payable in advance.
Our Gallery opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm. To make the most of your time in the gallery, we would encourage you to open for the full week.
The cost of running your exhibition will be $200 cash per week with a minimum of one week exhibition, please take note that this is your gallery and that commissions on your artworks will not be charged.
Shoalhaven fine art gallery is also home to a number of resident artists who take part in a permanent display showcasing their unique talents, located in the adjoining room.
All Tables Chairs Serving Plates Cutlery Wine glasses are provided for your convenience during your opening launch.
(all breakages must be either replaced or paid for) All tables must be cleaned and put away properly and kitchen items must be washed and put away after the opening of your exhibition ready for re opening the next morning.
The gallery will be looked after by us Monday through to Friday from 9am to 4pm and on the weekend by the exhibitors 10am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays, if you the artist would like to be present throughout your exhibition this is encouraged as many visitors to the gallery are more likely to buy an artwork direct from the artist as they can put a face to the artwork, this is completely up to you.
All money on sales is to be collected by the artist as eftpos and credit card facilities are not available by us.
The person serving any alcohol must have a ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ (RSA) certificate as required by law.
All rental fees must be paid in full on completing your exhibition booking dates and signing the approved application form.
We would also like to encourage that all artworks be professionally presented for hanging and selling, as this is a professional Picture framing establishment as well as a gallery. (not necessarily framed but presented)
